SEPTA has published the updated fall 2026 schedule for the West Trenton Line, which serves both the Rydal and Meadowbrook stations. Commuters should be aware of several peak-hour departure time adjustments going into effect.
Key Changes
The most significant changes affect weekday morning peak service. Two previously express runs will now make additional stops at Jenkintown and Elkins Park, adding approximately 4 minutes to the total trip time. SEPTA attributes the change to ridership demand at intermediate stations.
Evening peak service remains largely unchanged, with trains departing Center City approximately every 15–20 minutes between 4:30 and 6:30 PM. Weekend service adds one additional Saturday morning departure.
Quick Reference
- Effective: Fall 2026 schedule starts September 1, 2026
